On September 23, the building project ‘Gerber’ will open its doors in Stuttgart, Germany, connecting the Southern part of the inner city with the shopping mecca Königstraße. Gerber will house offices, flats, an underground parking lot and a shopping center, housing 86 shops on a sales space of around 25,000 sqm.

The shopping center has now been fully rented. Amongst the fashion and lifestyle tenants will be names such as Urban Outfitters, Elb by Kult, Brandy & Melville, H&M, Mango, Jack & Jones, Camp David, Vero Moda, Playlife, Vans and Volcom.

For Volcom, the opening means a relocation and expansion: from the brand’s 90 sqm store in Stuttgart’s Breite Straße to the new 130 sqm space at Gerber. Hardy Tunnissen, manager of the Volcom stores in Germany (Berlin, Munich and Stuttgart): “We were convinced by Gerber’s concept. The urban flair fits perfectly to Volcom and the future brand environment allows us to reach our target group better.”
