Last Thursday, (September 1st) Dutch retailer WE Fashion unveiled its refurbished store in the Centro shopping mall in Oberhausen, Germany. The location offers a preview of the retailer’s entirely new store concept which will be implemented starting from 2017.

The Oberhausen flagship on a new floor with more space than before, bets on different shopping zones for different product worlds to give the customer a clear structure, thus ensuring a high service quality.

The new “Blue Ridge Zone”, referring to WE’s denim line, is installed for everyone to find the best-fitting jeans and combining it with a whole outfit, if wanted. The area stands out with royal blue walls and individually designed furniture. Also, a “Men’s business” and a “Women’s smart” zone have been established, as well as a special kids section.

Contemporary materials like face concrete are implemented as a contrast to timeless woods.

Oberhausen is a very central location for WE Fashion, having the strongest catchment area in the Western part of Germany. The retailer has plans to further push its expansion in the German market.
