The Italian sportswear brand Stone Island has inaugurated a new monobrand store in Turin, just facing the city’s most central and beautiful square - piazza San Carlo. The store opened inside a location that was previously occupied by one of “San Carlo dal 1973” stores, a most prestigious group of local boutiques.

“I am happy to open in the heart of Turin, the city where I grew up and that meant so much to my family and me. Being able to open inside one of the San Carlo boutiques founded by Giorgina Siviero, a major personality of Turin’s fashion scene and to whom I’m tied by long-time friendship and professional esteem, is an even greater reason of proudness.”

The store occupies the number 167 of the square and occupies 250 square meters on two levels. It offers the Stone Island and Stone Island Shadow brands.

White vaulted ceilings and red brick walls contrast with blue LED lighting systems laying on anthracite panels and a wide crystal wall. Stone and steel floors with blue elements show Stone Island’s well-known compass logo.

The decor project was made by Marc Buhre, industrial designer from Heidelberg. Every element of the system was carefully studied for functional purposes.

After the recent openings in Antwerp, Amsterdam and Rome, the Turin store is the 16th flagship of the brand led by Carlo Rivetti.
