Amsterdam-based footwear brand Filling Pieces, known for its state-of-the-art design approach to sneakers has introduced Inner Circle, a limited edition capsule collection featuring three new styles. Only 250 units will be available worldwide.
The Runner 3.0 Fuse sneaker is marked by an asymmetrical rubberized neoprene and nubuck upper, together with an elastic strap and the sock-like fit of a slip-on shoe. The heel padding extends into a rubber lace-stay, both being stitched to a custom sole created by Italian manufacturer Top Fondi. It comes in five colorways, each in both high top and a low top version.
A second style is the Astro Runner, which presents a full rubberized neoprene upper and a sock-like fit like the Runner 3.0 Fuse. A heel stabilizer in rubber is stitched into the sole and extends into lace stays that have been punched to save weight and for flexibility. The neoprene upper is reinforced by a leather toe box to avoid fast deterioration in this key area.
Eventually, the Low Top Lee silhouette is composed of top grain leather upper with a rubberized neoprene tongue. The elastic lacing extends from two tabs which follow the lines of the sneaker sole and heel padding.
The Inner Circle collection will be available at selected Filling Pieces retail destinations like Caliroots, End Clothing, Harvey Nichols London, Kith, Sneakerboy Melbourne and online starting from September 12th. Retail prices start at 230€ and go up to 270€.
