American footwear company Skechers reorganizes its sales department for the German market by recruiting several new staff members and introducing a new distribution structure. Therefore, a new section has been created within the sales department named category management.

In the course of this change, joining the team are Deborah Nucci as Key Account Manager, Rebecca Haag, responsible for Category Women, Viola Lawitschka, responsible for Category Men and Jörn Kind as Junior Sales Representative.

Nucci has previously been working for EMU Australia and occupied the role as Key Account Manager Europe at Adidas. Rebecca Haag previously worked as Area Manager Shoes for Lugina, while Viola Lawitschka returns to Skechers after working for Van Gastel shoes for three years. Before entering his position as Junior Sales Representative for South Germany at Skechers, Jörn Kind was working for Under Armour in the retail marketing and sales department.

Another milestone for the Skechers is the expansion of its showroom in Mainhausen, that will be launched in January 2016 and have a surface area of 1,000 square meters. “The brand Skechers has a lot of potential. We want max out this potential with an ideal distribution strategy and a convincing showroom,” says Sales Manager Andreas Wittke.
