Danish indie rock band The Raveonettes will be the new face of Selected's fall/winter 2014 campaign. Additionally, the band has also designed a limited capsule collection for the Bestseller Group brand with 15 styles each for Selected Homme and Selected Femme.

Frontman Sune Wagner, former fashion history student at Parsons The New School for Design in New York, was involved in all phases of the project. “In my world fashion and music are linked together closely. Both want to create an image and an identity. Music genres like Punk Rock, Grunge etc. stand for their own looks and they can define their own community”, Sune Wagner said.

The Selected x The Raveonettes collection fuses the simple and clean style of the brand with an indie rock twist. The color range is minimalistic, combined with classic and sleek silhouettes to create an understatement look.

The campaign has been shot by the photographer Soren Solkaer, who is known for his portraits of musicians – he has already worked with artists like Björk, The White Stripes, The Artic Monkeys, R.E.M. and U2. Inspired by a cinematographic Film Noir atmosphere, the shooting took place in L.A., the city where band colleagues Sune Wagner and Sharin Foo live.
