Last week Munich Fabric Start ran its preview textile fair ‘View Premium Selection’ with 300 international pre-collections for fabrics, additionals and denim & sportswear, presenting the first trends and developments in new fabrics and colors. Among them the fair introduces 22 newcomers, including famous brands from the Italian Marzotto Group as well as new exhibitors from England, Portugal and Japan.

As the organizers announced, internationally established and high-quality brands as Lagerfeld, Wunderkind, Escada, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Baldessarini, Strellson, Cinque, Lala Berlin and Liu Jo were attracted by the show. Visitors also included buyers and teams from further ready-to-wear manufacturers such as Laurèl, Riani, René Lezard, Marc Cain, Schumacher, Strenesse, Comma and MAC not forgetting Drykorn, Alberto, Marc O' Polo, to name only a few.

Summing up Wolfgang Klinder, the CEO of Munich Fabric Start: "… The dates have proven optimal for the industry and obviously offer the right setting for concentrated work at the right point in time. This is confirmed especially by the constantly high quality and rising visitor footfall. Also positive to note is the fact that the denim and sportswear area with selected, renowned suppliers is received very well and in very high demand at this time."

Saia Gulzar of Tommy Hilfiger, who came with colleagues from Amsterdam for two days: "The early entré for the season that View provides gives us room for the necessary inspiration that no good collection can do without."

The final collection developments for the Autumn/Winter 16/17 season will be presented by around 1,000 international exhibitors at Munich Fabric Start September, 1-3, 2015. Bluezone running September, 1-2, will house 80 exhibitors including leading European denim weavers and finisher alongside relevant first-time exhibitors.
