Schott NYC will soon have a second standalone store in the US–its first on the West Coast. The brand, which has been family owned and operated since founder Irving Schott began it in 1913, has signed a lease with Caruso Affiliated for a 1,400-sq.-foot (130-sq.-meter) space at The Americana at Brand outdoor shopping complex in Glendale, California.

Architect Gregory Okshteyn, with Studios Go, Inc, will design the store, which will stock the full Schott collection, including jackets in leather, wool, down, denim, canvas and suede plus sweaters shirts and accessories. Okshteyn also designed the Schott flagship in New York City. It opened in 2013.

“Los Angeles is a city with a rebellious spirit and tremendous appreciation for authenticity. It was an obvious choice for us to open our second US store in Los Angeles where we have a large fan base and the opportunity to introduce ourselves to an even larger audience,” said COO Jason Schott in a statement. The store is slated to open later this month.
