Surface to Air has opened a new concept store in the increasingly trendy Haut Marais retail district. The 150-sq.-meter space, with marble and trompe l’oeil floors and moving panels, was designed by the brand’s own creative team S2A, in collaboration with the architect Federico Masotto, and shows wall decor that pays tribute to the S2A-directed video of Midnight Juggernauts and furniture created by Federico and Paolo Vale.

The new shop offers the full men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections, shoes and accessories. A corner is reserved for other brands and art installations as well as a gallery space. The avant-garde design label Bless inaugurated the space showing several new products and an installation. The next guest will be Kenneth Cappello with his exhibition, “Acid-Drop.”

Surface to Air started in 2002 with an office, gallery and boutique whih organized exhibitions, parties and publications; it later debuted a fashion collection, which is currently sold in 20 countries and in over 200 shops. In 2007 the brand opened its first concept store in Rue Charlot, which will be used in the future as a showroom.
