Brooklyn-based streetwear brand Mishka apparently isn’t superstitious: this Friday, Mar. 13, it will officially open its first flagship store at 350 Broadway in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

The brand, which began as a T-shirt collection more than five years ago, also now offers men’s and women’s cut and sew pieces, denim, caps, bags and other accessories as well as collectors’ toys.

The brand’s longtime friend John Watson, who also heads up its Death Adders Racing Team (DART) of street bikers, designed the 600-sq.-foot (56-sq.-meter) store’s interior. One of the space’s quirky highlights is a chandelier by Adam Wallacavage that looks like an octopus.

The Mishka shop will open to the public at noon on Friday and feature exclusive product releases all day long. An in-store party will take place later that evening.

This is technically not Mishka’s first venture into retail. Last month, it opened a temporary three-week pop-up concept at the streetwear boutique Ubiq in Philadelphia.
