Switzerland’s metropolis is offering the possibility to surf at Street Surfing’s test course during the Freestyle.ch event. Eventgoers can test-drive Street Surfing’s waveboards from Sept. 26-28 on the Landiwiese grounds next to the lake of Zurich. The Californian label is inviting everyone to check out his or her skills on a waveboard on the level course, open Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The 12 best performers will qualify for the big Street Surfing Battle, which will see the champs compete in spectacular knockout contests. The winner of Saturday and Sunday’s contests will receive a cash prize of CHF 500.

Freestyle.ch is Europe’s biggest freestyle sports event, drawing the world’s best snowboarders, freestyle skiers, FMX riders and skateboarders.

The waveboards are available in 200 stores in Switzerland and can be ordered online at Streetsurfing.com.
