Spanish sneaker and fashion brand Habit has closed. The company said it decided to shut its doors because sales and distribution of its recent collections were insufficient to warrant continuing with the brand.

Launched in 2001, Madrid-based Habit targeted young and trendy ages 20 to 40 with its avant-garde shoe designs and men’s and women’s tops, bottoms and outerwear.

Habit distributed mostly to European specialty boutiques and exhibited at trade shows such as Pitti Uomo in Florence and Bread & Butter in Berlin.
