After the successful conventions this year in Bern, Zurich and Cologne, last weekend (August 27) Sneakerness made its debut in Amsterdam. In the Zuiveringshal West by the Westergasfabriek, selected sneaker and lifestyle brands from all over Europe showed exclusive styles and collaborations, as well as plenty of rare vintage styles and limited collectables. The supporting program featured workshops, live-presentations and sneaker-customizing, next to a sneaker painting exhibition, as well as selling and swap tables.

During the convention, international DJs, such as Marc Hype, Blue and Lovesupreme supported the audience with the right music. The traditional aftershow party started off with a Sneakerness Beat BBQ at Toko MC, featuring DJs and producers FS Green & Full Crate.

On September 10, Sneakerness will be held in Vienna for the third time and will gather numerous brands, designers, customers, artists and selected retailers among visitors and sneaker-aficionados at the Ottakringer Brauerei. On special trading tables, private collectors will be able to swap or sell selected treasures, rarities and exclusive models from their collections. Additionally, the urban art corner “STROKE” will be introduced for the first time in Vienna and next to the paint club, the convention will host its legendary skate contest.

Since its kick-off in Bern 2008, Swiss-based Sneakerness has been serving as a platform for retailers, artists and sneaker fans alike to trade, buy, sell and experience sneakers.
