Gudrun & Gudrun, best known for its homespun take on contemporary knits, is releasing a book entitled Slow Clothing.

The concept is itself a spin on the idea of slow food and the book details the process of how the Faroe Isles designers put together their unique pieces.

Gudrun & Gudrun knitwear consists of the finest Faroe yarn and lambskin. Sustainable, responsible, organic, handmade and exotic fabrications encompass the philosophy of Gudrun & Gudrun, while comfort, conscience, slowness and the oceans of time define its simply fab knitwear. For example, there’s an amazing sense of relaxation when wrapped in one of G&G’s oversized, wooly coats.

The book will be unveiled on May 5 at Beyond 7 in New York City.
