Denim connoisseur Brian Robbins has announced plans to open a second miner49er store in Hong Kong on Nov. 18. The Tsim Sha Tsui located store follows the opening of the first miner49er store in San Clemente, California just over a year ago. Robbins says the new store will stand out from other specialty stores in Hong Kong, by virtue of its “rough and ready slice of California since 1849,” with its gold mining-themed merchandising, antiques and vintage photographs. The concept store will naturally feature Robbins’ own DDL line, but die-hard selvage lovers will also be able to score pieces from Montreal-based Bzen and a sweetly edited collection of vintage tees, books and other lifestyle items.
