Rottendorf-based company S.Oliver has implemented some personnel changes in order to push forward the global business. Thilo Striegel was named Creative Director, and in this newly created position is coordinating various marketing initiatives with S.Oliver’s product divisions. Striegel, who entered the company in 1997 as a sales representative for S.Oliver Selection, directly reports to the Managing Director Product & Marketing. For the last six years, Striegel held the position of Division Head S.Oliver Casual Men, which now was filled with Matthias Jobst who formerly was Head of Design S.Oliver Casual Men since 2006.
Since October of 2010, Alex Ibakasap holds the position of Division Head QS by S.Oliver male where he develops the collection message of the young and trendy segment. He succeeds Armin Duppel who left the company effectively on June 30, 2010. Ibakasap, who directly reports to Thorsten Grönlund, Managing Director Marketing & Product, previously worked for Esprit Europe where he was Merchandise Manager Europe.
