New York-based Jacques Moret Inc. (www.moret.com) has appointed Susan Fields to the post of general manager of Everlast Women's division. Fields, previously president of mid-tier and off price for Nine West Accessories and Victoria + Co., both subsidiaries of Jones Apparel Group, will oversee product development, merchandising, sales and marketing for the Everlast license. The one-time COO for House of Bianchi, a bridal firm, and director of sales and marketing for Vera Wang will now report to Joey Harary, president of Jacques Moret Inc., which acquired the women’s license from Everlast Worldwide Inc. (www.everlast.com) in January 2005. In addition to Everlast womenswear, Jacques Moret produces activewear, bodywear and intimates under the brand names of Jacques Moret, Moret Ultra Active Wear and 2(X)ist, a popular men’s underwear line. The company will debut its Everlast Women's Spring 2006 line at Marquee nightclub in New York City this August.
