After a three day fashion marathon full of business, Show & Order finished successfully. The three days had a strong run of visitors and especially the first day was good with 4,500 visitors. “We are happy with the fascinating result”, stated CEO Verena Malta, who reported on an increasing internationality of visitors.
With 300 international brands and more space for accessories, the fair is a good platform for independent brands and newcomers. The mix of trend and luxury fashion is consequent and many direct orders were placed. The motto “Bohemian summer” suited the presented collections: many colorful hippie, India and Ibiza-inspired styles could be seen.
Also some newcomers had a successful debut at Show & Order. Georgio Alsen, presented his espadrilles collection ‘Alsen Ibiza’ for the first time and showed satisfied: “For me, Berlin was a good start for my business”. Also denim brand Kuyichi was positively surprised. “We are here for the first time and we love the relaxed atmosphere. Everything is easy to handle”, said Peter Schuitema, international sales director of Kuyichi.
The launch of the new French showroom ´So…by Sophie Guyot´ on the second floor of the Kraftwerk Berlin location was a highlight of the show.
