Since the wholesale distribution of outerwear brand Refrigiwear was stopped in Germany years ago, it has been quiet around the brand for a long time. This is about to change: With the fall/winter season 2017, the brand will see its comeback in Germany.

Responsible for the distribution is Colorful Trade GmbH based in Mannheim, co-founded by former Sixty CEO Jörg Korfhage. Around 22 stores have ordered the styles in the first round.

As Korfhage confirmed, the heritage of the brand, which history started back in 1954 by dressing cold storage workers for their job at below-zero temperatures remains the same. Indeed the materials that are used for the styles that target men and women are much softer. Additionally, the brand increases their retail prices. As it is not a license anymore retail prices were reduced on average by 100 euros. The collection now ranges from 199 Euro for a light down jacket up to 499 Euro for high technical models. The collection offers two order periods and 4 delivery terms.
