After departing from the creative direction of Gap Inc. earlier this year, US online clothing start-up Everlane has hired Rebekka Bay as head of product and design, effective from the beginning of August. She will be based in New York with the rest of Everlane’s design team. The first designs under Bay’s leadership will start to show six months from now.

Everlane was launched nearly three years ago by Michael Preysman, founder and chief executive. The company sells men and women high-quality clothing basics and accessories with minimal and clean design at quite affordable prices.

Before Gap Inc., Rebekka Bay also occupied the creative direction of Scandinavian label COS, belonging to the H&M Group.
