Japan-born e-commerce giant Rakuten.com has launched a new fashion site in the US.
At Rakuten.com/fashion, users will now find improved site design and search functions, a seamless integration of boutique sister company Vault. The pages feature celebrity endorsments and social media integrations including a live Pinterest scroll feed and content from the Rakuten Essential’s blog to engage the fashion consumer.
The store pages allow Rakuten to make updates and respond to trends in real-time. The company intents ot grow and diversify its already large roster of fashion brands, currently including names such as Ray-Ban, Steve Madden or Hurley.

Rakuten.com/fashion went live October 21, 2014. The kick-off is celebrated with a weeklong sale and promotions for product sold through the redesigned site.
