Beginning this fall, Rufus Apparel shirts will be manufactured and warehoused by Gitman Bros. Rufus, the NYC-based eclectic dress shirt company founded by April Singer Straten, entered into this agreement to continue producing shirts made in the United States.

Gitman Bros., based in Ashland, Pennsylvania, has been producing shirts since 1948 and is one the last remaining shirt makers who bases its manufacturing entirely in the United States. “Rufus Apparel has struck a chord in the department/better specialty store community and is becoming a leader in the segment of dressy sports shirts,” said John Minahan, CEO of Gitman. “We are proud they chose us.”
