Call it the new Dynamic Duo: Damon Dash has joined forces with Batman.

In a deal announced earlier this week, it was revealed that Rocawear Clothing (, headed by CEO Dash, has partnered with Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) on behalf of DC Comics to create an apparel collection based on the imagery from the forthcoming movie "Batman Begins." That movie, directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Christian Bale, will be released worldwide in summer 2005.

The cinema-meets-fashion collaboration is the first of its type for Rocawear. However, Dash called the partnership "a seamless match." "Batman is a character is a child of the city, a self-made man who reinvents himself and lets nothing get in his way," he said. "We understand what he is all about."

The Rocawear-Batman streetwear will feature logos and graphics inspired by the film and will be released in conjunction with the movie. The collection will feature three distinct deliveries — "Urban Legends," "Gotham City," and "I Am." Jackets, wovens, hoodies, tees, button-downs, pants and jeans will comprise the line, which will be sold at department and specialty stores.
