The Earnest Sewn ( earnestsewn.com) posse welcomed a suitably fashionable in-crowd – in the initial throws of New York Fashion Week – to their flagship on Manhattan’s West Side last night in celebration of the stores new temporary Repetto ( repetto.com) pop-up.

From 5th September through to 1st December, the much-admired boutique is hosting an installation of the eminent French footwear brand Repetto, a move that sees the coveted shoes designs for purchase for the first time in the United States. A limited selection of the men’s and women’s fancy footwear sit to the back of the 420 square foot store where previous pop-up endeavors – including Rogues Gallery, John Derian, and Santa Maria Novella – have sat before.

The space is designed to resemble the Repetto flagship in Paris on rue de la Paix, paying homage to Repetto's history with large-scale photos of brand fans like Brigitte Bardot and Serge Gainsbourg. In addition to the classic flat, a variety of limited-edition styles are showcased.
