Reebok unveiled its first pop-up store on Saturday in New York City. Taking over CVZ Contemporary art gallery’s space at 169 Bowery for four weeks, the 3,000-sq.foot “Reebok Flash” store offers through Dec. 14 limited edition men’s and women’s tees as well as the Rolland Berry collection for Reebok from $30-165. Items set to blow out, however, include weekly releases of limited edition sneakers ranging from the Maeda Insta Pump Fury ($200) and Coney Island Women’s Freestyle ($90) to Coney Island Men’s Ventilator ($100) and Bodega/NYC Court Victory Pump ($135). Reebok took New York City as its chief inspiration for its styles, incorporating bodegas and the color of taxi cabs to fonts reminiscent of New York in the ’80s.
