ENK’s Coterie may have tested the endurance of buyers post-fashion week, but that didn’t stop the crowds from hitting Dow XLA’s launch party on Tuesday for its brand new “Redesign the Rules” ad campaign currently breaking in major consumer and trade magazines. The actress-model Bijou Phillips hosted the chic event at Midtown’s Highbar, with the Misshapes spinning. Other guests packing the space included everyone from actor Danny Masterson to designers Richie Rich and Adriano Goldschmied. One of the most surprising success stories for the global chemical manufacturing giant, XLA has allowed designers to extend the longevity of products with its breakthrough resilient stretch properties. The product is currently being used in denim by brands such as Prada, AG, Citizens of Humanity, Seven for All Mankind, Paige Premium, Denim and GoldSign, all of which were on display as part of a denim wall mounted specially for the event.
