Brioni’s classic travel jacket, which is available each season, will get a makeover courtesy of menswear MA students from London’s Royal College of Art.

The collaboration is part of a three-year academic partnership that commenced in 2007 and was formed by the Italian luxury brand to help preserve the art of tailoring.

For the duration of the project, which involves extensive training in tailoring, 12 of the College’s students will work in close collaboration with Brioni tailors to reinvent the traditional fashion house’s signature piece, something that will no doubt benefit both camps.
