Quiksilver Europe has announced key executive appointments: Pierre Boccon-Liaudet as Chief Financial Officer and José Cledera as Chief Operations Officer. They will report directly to Pierre Agnes, President of Quiksilver Europe and on a functional level to Joe Scirocco, Group CFO/COO.

The appointments are effective immediately and replace the company’s former Vice President Finance & Operations, Sébastien Loux, who has resigned to pursue other interests. Over the past 15 years, Loux played a strategic role in the development and growth of Quiksilver Europe.

Boccon-Liaudet, 40, will be responsible for all of Europe’ finance functions, customer service and sales administration. He joined Quiksilver Europe in May 2005 as Finance Director. Prior to joining Quiksilver, he held various financial positions at KPMG and Schlumberger in Europe and Asia.

Cledera, 46, will be responsible for all of Europe’s operations functions and IT. He joined Quiksilver Europe in May 2007 as its IT Director. Prior to joining Quiksilver, Cledera also held several management positions in IT and Manufacturing at Motorola and Freescale in Europe.
