Bread & butter will not publish any numbers of the last show that run Jul. 1-3. A company spokesperson confirmed that it has no plans to release any data concerning visitors, even no information on whether Berlin attracted more visitors in than Barcelona in percentage points, only that two-thirds of visitors who attended the show were from abroad.

The spokesperson added that the show chief Karl-Heinz Müller and his management board decided to focus more on quality than on quantity this time in communication. “Everybody was enthusiastic about the event. We got only positive feedback from the site, exhibitors and visitors. This tells on its own,” the spokesperson said.

Overall, 567 brands exhibited at Tempelhof. As announced at the press conference on the fair’s second day, 25,000 visitors from some 89 countries were in attendance the first day. Most people came from Germany, about a third, followed by Italy, the Netherlands, UK, France and Spain. The US accounted for 800 visitors, while Japan had 200 and Australia 100 representatives.
