After carrying out a first edition this past October (20-22), Pure Shanghai is now making plans for a follow-up event in 2015. The first Chinese version of the established Pure London trade show attracted a number of ca. 2,000 visitors (final numbers have not been released yet) to Shanghai’s New International Expo Center. The show was organized by i2i Events Group in partnership with CCPIT TEX and also hosted seminars and catwalk shows. Nearly 50% of the circa 50 exhibitors were British brands, amongst these names such as Gina Bacconi, Jones + Jones, TFNC or Ness.

Katy Roberts, event manager for Pure Shanghai at i2i Events Group: “For a launch event we are pleased to have attracted 50 international brands that recognise the future potential of the Chinese fashion market and increasing prevalence of multi-brand stores. This has been a good initial step for us to further build on Pure Shanghai and we are working with our Chinese partners on our joint strategy and how we further improve and develop for the October 2015 event.”
