Sports brand Puma has revived its running shoe R698 together with Italian clothing label LC23 and Bologna’s sneaker store Backdoor. The special made-in-Italy model retails at €139,95 and is available at Puma stores from July 24.

The new take on the R698 maintains its original silhouette, but incorporates an original textile material from LC23’s Oxford shirts into the iteration. Backdoor adorned the midsole with the brand’s colors and also included its stamp on the Trinomic logo. The hand-sewn label on the tongue highlights the triple collaboration.

LC23 was founded in 2011 by Leo Colacicco, who started sourcing handmade apparel from his hometown in Apulia, Southern Italy. The brand retails apparel for men, women and children.
