Under the slogan „Fast Forward“, trade show Modefabriek goes into its 40th edition on 24-25 January in Amsterdam. True to the motto, visitors can look forward to a completely new layout during the upcoming winter edition.

To meet the standards of the co-op trend, Modefabriek’s new layout is designed to inspire and stimulate new meetings. Therefore, the trade show rearranged its layout into new “Districts”:

District A, prior hosting fair and ethical brands, is now the place where retailers can find accessible, fast moving fashion brands.

District B is where visitors can find fashion forward denim and reimagined heritage brands, as well as international streetwear fashion.

District C presents high-end international fashion brands from boutique style womenswear to contemporary classic menswear. This hall was prior occupied by the denim area “Blueprint” and the premium menswear area “Style Matters”.

District D (Mint) is where visitors can now find national and international sustainable fashion brands. This district is all about innovation and the future of fashion. Mint celebrates its 10th anniversary. On this occasion, Mint unveils a new study on the position of sustainability in Dutch stores and holds a panel discussion on the role of sustainability and fashion in society.

Together with trend forecasting agency Buro Jantrendman, Modefabriek will devote the connecting hall between District A and C to a trend installation called "Futureland". There, the new co-existence of art and design is shown by showcasing products that are "handcrafted" using digital tools and presenting new conscious ways of living due to high-tech technology.
