Düsseldorf is prepared for the upcoming order days. From January 30 to February 2, more than 3,000 collections will be showing fashion trends for fall/winter 2015/16 at the CPD. The order days include trade fairs such as Gallery, Supreme, Date, Fashion House as well as various show room activities. The new dynamic CPD logo will demonstrate the unification and positive mood of all participants.

Uwe Kerkmann, economic development city Düsseldorf, said: “The fashion industry in North Rhine-Westphalia, with 3,000 companies and an 18 billion turnover, is a strong economic factor.” The Gallery has again expanded the exhibition space and will show about 500 brands at the “Botschaft” (embassy) on Cecilienallee. Supreme Women & Men, with 450 brands on three floors in the location B1, is fully booked. Even the Date accessories fair, on 2,000 square meters at the Düsseldorf fashion house, is fully booked. For the first time Date is presenting a catwalk for young talents. A shuttle service will be connecting all relevant fashion locations.

One of the highlights is the show & exhibition of AMD Akademie Mode & Design at Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf. Under the motto “here + now”, 22 students are presenting their collections. The exhibition shows projects (photos, magazine and booklets) of the graduated fashion journalist students.
