Next week, Amsterdam will be all about the blue fabric. For the second time the Amsterdam Denim Days will take place from 13-18 April, 2015. The second edition will host a series of denim related events.

The public program will be open for all denim interested people. This includes the two-day (17 – 18 April) denim festival Blueprint at the Westergasfabriekterrein with expositions, workshops, music, food, drinks and a vintage market. Denim key players like G-Star, Denham, Scotch & Soda and Kings of Indigo will participate once again.
Advance tickets cost 15€ and can be bought via Facebook or the Amsterdam Denim Days website. In addition, the city center of the Dutch capital will also get indigo dyed, embracing product and collection presentations as well as happenings. Together with the Amsterdam Denim Days, Jeanologia, Candiani Denim and the Amsterdam Jean School, SPORTSWEAR INTERNATIONAL will be hosting the 'Denim Playground' at Blueprint on Friday (12am-8pm) and Saturday (10am-6pm). In the Zuiveringshal/Machinegebouwl, a laser customization atelier will give kids the option to design and customize denim bike accessoires to train as the next generation denim aficionados. 

Holders of the Blueprint ticket can also visit the seminar ‘Towards a brighter blue’ with key speakers from the denim industry on Saturday, 18th of April.

The fabric tradeshow Kingpins is taking place in the Gashouder building at the Westergasfabriek on April 15-16, welcoming fashion professionals of the denim industry. The tradeshow is an invitation-only event. The new conference concept, Kingpins 2029, The Transformers, will be introduced in collaboration with the House of Denim. The keynotes and panel discussions scheduled for Blueprint on Friday 17 April in the Machine building focus on the theme 'Denim, jeans & water’. This section is only open to professionals, invitees and press.
