Every season, fashion trade show Premium
awards the Premium Young Designers Award in the categories womenswear, menswear and accessories. This season’s winners have already been elected and will present their collections in the Berlin trade show's new area for luxury brands, Hall 8, next Monday, 19 January at 3pm.
Caroline Rohner and Inna Stein won in the womenswear category with their label Steinrohner
. The duo met at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule in Berlin and founded the label in 2013. For their winning collection “Fossilized”, Rohner and Stein mixed laser cut technology with the traditional art of knitting.

Spanish designer Guillem Rodrigez
came out top in the menswear category. His inspiration lies in abstract art and an imaginary world he created for himself. At the age of 23 Rodrigez won the prize Best Young Designer in Spain and he has also shown his collection “Manifest”, in collaboration with artist Alba Rihe, at the 2014 Barcelona Fashion Week.
Design duo Julia Rieth and Detlef Stiebich won the accessories award with their label Stiebich & Rieth
. While they already opened their design bureau in 2004, they only decided to launch their own bag brand in 2013. All bags are hand-crafted and made from untreated materials.
