Patagonia has announced new arrangements of positions for its German team.

As new country manager for Germany and Austria, Michael Austermühle is responsible for the wholesale business of both countries as well as for the company´s strategic advancement in trade -and e-commerce. Previous to his new role, Austermühle worked for The North Face, holding the position of country manager Germany and the responsibility for brands like O’Neill, H20 Sportswear and Berger Sportswear. He succeeds Norbert Sandner, who has been with Patagonia for more than 27 years.

Norbert Sandner steps into the position of the European alpine & climbing manager and is now responsible for the expansion of both businesses in Europe. Sandner works together with the marketing, sales and product teams.

Laura Hoppe, who has been working for Patagonia since 2009, is the new environment & marketing coordinator for Germany with experiences in marketing, retail and sales as well as in environmental initiatives.
