The new Panorama initiative was launched within the Expo 2015, in Piazza Gae Aulenti, Milan.

Panorama is a newly built 350-sq.meter circular wooden structure that hosts constant projections of a 15-minute special short movie shot by drones only. It is projected on a 5-meter-high circular maxi-screen and offers visitors a multi-sensory experience that will allow them to explore Italy from a whole new perspective, presenting the strong link between nature, culture and craftsmanship, showing most different examples of Italian excellence - including fashion, design, food, hotellerie, racecars and motocycling.

Thanks to the images, visitors will be able to fly over different Italian monuments and cities seen from above as never before, as well as see 250 of the greatest artworks curated in Italy’s museums, by artists such as Raphael, Leonardo Da Vinci, Giotto and Botticelli. Sophisticated details of paintings, jewelry and other examples of Italian craftsmanship are presented together through century-old vineyards and fashion shows, manufacturing companies and natural beauties.

Visitors will be able to watch this for free for the entire duration of Expo Milano 2015 (from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm until 31 October 2015). The initiative is the result of the collaboration between public institutions and private associations including the Ministry Chamber of Commerce of Milan, Fondazione Altagamma, Italian Chamber of Fashion and Salone del Mobile Milano, with the support of Expo Milano 2015.
