Berlin’s trade show Panorama has finally unveiled more facts about its newest concept called Nova, which will be kicked off during the fall/winter 2016-17 edition in January 2016. Nova has been inspired by the success of international concept stores like Dover Street Market or Colette and their business principle, characterized mainly by the mix of fashion collections with other non-textile design products and a visual merchandising notion that doesn’t stay still from season to season. Nova will occupy a surface area of 7.500 square-meters.

Nova will incorporate the same blend with men’s and women’s apparel collections from contemporary- and urbanwear brands (70%) displayed together with a selection of beauty products, home accessories and tech gadgets. Labels that are participating in Nova –located on the fair grounds at Hall 9- are Denham, Kuyichi, Original Penguin, Cinque, Majestic, Jeffrey Campbell, The Kooples and Matt & Nat, among others.

Aesthetically, the concept is built around three key themes: Minimal, with reduced forms that emphasize the product; Workshop, where a atelier-like atmosphere with rough industrial elements reigns; and Nature, which is inspired by the hippie culture and comprehends naturals materials and plants.

“With Nova we show how to break with the tried and trusted retail floors and achieve theme-driven worlds that the own concept –the fashion retail- complements,” said Jörg Wichmann, CEO of Panorama in regard to Nova.
