Puma has signed a new licensing deal with Netherlands-based Dobotex for its bodywear collection. Currently produced by Schiesser Lifestyle, the new bodywear collection by Dobotext will debut in Puma stores next spring and begin wholesaling for the fall 2009 season.

Puma already has a licensing contract with Dobotex for its socks. That contract was also renewed earlier this week.

Says Jochen Zeitz, chairman/ceo of Puma: “Dobotex is a true product expert and well respected company in its field of activity and we are very excited to extend the license agreement in geographical spread and product development.”

The new deal has a global reach, excluding the US.

Puma currently maintains licensing agreements for its line of personal care products, eyewear and timepieces.
