This June, a new apparel trade show will debut in Chicago. Pulse, as it is called, will feature the top brands in streetwear, denim, hip-hop, contemporary fashions and board sports.

The show will be held four times a year at the Merchandise Martís 50,000 square-foot Market Suites, and will be the paramount show in urbanwear in the Midwest region of the United States. Already, brands such as Enyce, Rocawear, Phat Farm, Akademiks and Sean John have signed up to exhibit among the 800 collections that will be showcased.

Susan McCollough, vice president of Merchandise Mart's apparel division said, "We are very excited for the launch of Pulse. Pulse taps into the growing urban apparel market and fills a need within the industry for a show geared toward this lifestyle movement."

Jayluv Pettiford, the Midwest sales executive for Enyce adds, "No one can deny that the 18-34 year old market is the hub of what is going in the industry."

Pulse will be held June 23-25 and will kick off with a huge party in one of Chicago's premier nightclubs, Ontourage.
