The winter 2007 edition of RED Moscow has been cancelled. Its organizers, Berlin-based Premium Exhibitions GmbH (premiumexhibitions.com), which also produce Berlin’s Premium exhibition, announced today that they will focus entirely on Berlin instead. “We want to strengthen Berlin as fashion location,” said company head Anita Bachelin. “We plan to attract Russian exhibitors, buyers and distribution to come to Premium in Berlin.”

To make this happen, they have launched a large marketing campaign, including direct mails and print ads, from their Premium Red office in Moscow. They hope to address 10,000 Russian buyers, agents, distributors and press representatives.

The summer 2007 edition of RED Moscow is still slated to take place, though. “In summer we want to provide both shows in Berlin and Moscow,” said Bachelin. However, a date for that show has not been finalized yet.
