Première Vision Inc., the New York subsidiary of Première Vision SA, announced its acquisition of Direction, the leading North American textile show for the apparel and home markets, earlier today. Première Vision is already behind such influential industry shows as Première Vision, Expofil, Indigo, Denim by PV, and has a joint venture with a Tarsus – ModAmont. The move gives Première Vision a strategic foot in the international markets and an opportunity to bolster its Indigo brand. Launched in 2002, following the merger of Inprints NY and English Accents, Direction quickly became one of the most influential shows in New York City’s Garment District, with three shows annually. Its January and August editions alone showcase over 150 international exhibitors and draw more than 2,600 visitors per show.
