The powerhouse that is Playboy continues in its bid for world domination this fall, heading into the UK in partnership with British retailer Harvey Nichols. Paying homage to its iconic heritage, the high-end Harvey Nichols store will exhibit and sell prints and fashion products from “Playboy Exposed,” an exhibit of more than 150 of Playboy’s most iconic photographs.

In celebration Playboy will unveil a collection of limited-edition fashion products, inspired by the images and available at retail beginning fall 2005. Launching at the Harvey Nichols flagship Knightsbridge store, the select images and products will be showcased and sold at all Harvey Nichols stores and at other exclusive retail locations in major cities around the world, including Gallery Lafayette in Berlin.

In late October things will kick off with an evening “do” hosted by the congenial Playboy Bunnies, who will be signing merchandise and no doubt bouncing around. Later, sweepstakes will offer a color reproduction, signed by Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, of the nude Marilyn Monroe portrait that appeared in the December 1953 issue of Playboy.

The select Playboy prints and photographs are available for viewing at the Knightsbridge location until November 18, before continuing to the five other Harvey Nichols locations throughout Britain, through spring ’06.
