Playboy ( has spread its wings — or rather ears — and opened its first European office at 7-15 Rosebery Avenue in London’s Holborn area. The office will serve as the company’s European headquarters and press office and be a “fashion hub for media and retail appointments.”

The new office is not the first Playboy appearance in London – last year the label opened a showroom at 48 Beak Street in Soho.

“Over the past several years, Playboy’s brand presence in London has continued to grow, highlighted by its tremendous retail success at upscale retailers such as Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Harrods,” says Markus Grindel, senior vice president of global licensing and European brand officer for Playboy Enterprises International, Inc. “The company recognizes the obvious advantages of opening a central office in London – one of the main business, retail and social centers of Europe. The growth opportunities for Playboy in this dynamic environment are tremendous.”
