Just as the Christmas shopping madness approaches its peak at Harrods, Paul Smith set about unveiling a men’s accessories pop-up shop on the renowned store’s ground floor. Created entirely by the British designer and his team, the space has an unmistakable Paul Smith touch to it, completely decorated with striped wallpaper and carpets. In terms of stock, the full men’s accessories spectrum is offered. Gloves, wallets, woolly scarves, and bags are all part of the mix, some of which feature a digital print exclusively created for the shop, depicting a stripy Mini Cooper shot inside Harrods’s Egyptian Hall. Items of a more unexpected nature also include, for instance, toothbrushes, snowboards and dog bowls.

“It’s been a great project and the space has already been very well received. We’ve brought in the complete accessories ranges for men, along with some exclusive items as well as artworks by Peter Blake and Roth. What makes the shop stand out, is partially the fact that we’ve brought in antique furniture and display cases from our curiosity shop, Paul Smith no. 9,” said an excited Paul Smith at the press launch of the store.

The Paul Smith pop-up shop at Harrods will remain open for five months.
