Pasarela Cibeles (, Spain’s largest showcase for clothing design, staged its most comprehensive version between 11th and 15th February – marking it’s 47th edition.

Bringing together 37 designers as part of a programme structured around 33 runway shows, the event featured new initiatives, including the participation of a foreign designer for the first time, the Brazilian designer Gloria Coelho and the incorporation of the designer Josep Abril. Additionally, there were solo runway shows staged by José Miró, Juanjo Oliva, Carmen March and Alma Aguilar for the first time. The closing show was by Miguel Marinero and Olga Ríos, based on a double leather and fur fashion parade on Friday 15th February.

The event coincided at the IFEMA exhibition centre with SIMM, the Madrid International Fashion Fair, which has organised the LatinoAméricaFashion Show over its last six editions, featuring the best of Latin design, as well as with CASA PASARELA, Design Fair for Home Trends, and IBERJOYA, International Jewellery, Silverware, Watch and Related Industries Exhibition.
