Since beginning of September Norway’s capital hosts a new upscale shopping destination: Yme is a true hot spot for fashion and beyond.

Located in the centre of Oslo in a historic building from 1844, Yme hosts contemporary streetwear and sportswear for men and women by labels such as A.P.C., Y-3, Wood Wood, Norse Projects, Opening Ceremony, AMI, Nike, Adidas, Stone Paris, Sophie Bille Brahe, Ileana Makri, Arquiste, Odin, Liquides Imaginaires, La Manufacture, Leica, Aëdle, Casino, Lee Broom, Gubi, Jonathan Adler and Rubn Lighting as well as high end designer brands such as Dior Homme, Giambattista Valli, Lanvin, Alexander McQueen, Valentino, Mary Katrantzou, Maison Martin Margiela, Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester and Comme des Garçons.

Apart from fashion Yme offers a selection of limited run art, interior, niche perfume brands, books and stylish magazines, together with a cool mix of design products and collectible gadgets. 1,600 sqm spread over three floors give room for an art gallery, bookstore, café, roof garden and a creative studio.

“Yme is a curated universe of fashion, art, interior and design,” says founder, CEO and Creative Director Nicolai Schaanning Larsen who developed the concept. The building's design and interior are created by Yme Studios in collaboration with the internationally renowned architectural firm Snøhetta.

Larsen: “We wanted to create a retail space and interior that is designed as a multifunctional area, where customers and visitors are encouraged to meet and exchange culture, ideas and experiences with cosmetic excellences.”
