The Canadian free-ski brand Orage has a new VP of Sales, Martin Trudel.

The former Senior Director of Sales, who has been at Orage for two years, will now report to Jean-Pierre Ferrandez, Executive Vice President.

Trudel has over 20 years’ experience in the sports business, having come from brands such as Salomon Snowboards and Apparel and Flow Snowboards. More recently, he was instrumental in launching Skull Candy in North America.

Going forward, Trudel will be responsible for the international distribution and business development in North America.

Founded in 1989 in Quebec by avid skiers Eric D´Anjou und Evelyn Trempe, Orage is one of the oldest free-ski brands in the business. Currently more than 2,500 retailers offer the brand worldwide.

Freeskiing continues to be a growing segment in the ski industry.
