Major events and tradeshows celebrated Milan Fashion Week in trendy Tortona Street last weekend. Between September 27th and 30th the White Salon welcomed thousands of visitors coming to see cutting-edge designers’collections and special events focusing on innovative ideas and trendsetting creativity.

Experimental collections and outstanding looks created by fine young designers from all around the world were displayed on a location especially furnished by Martino Perdisa and Massimiliano Bizzi, founder of the exhibition in 2000. The show featured an eco-sustainable showroom of ethical oriented brands, a fashion lingerie area, a footwear gallery and an area dedicated to the uncut-bag project, of bags designed by selected students of Milan’s politechnic school.

At the same time Pitti Immagine presented Touch!, Neozone and Cloudnine, three appointments focused on highly experimental events and special presentation that registered 6385 buyers, 11% of which came from abroad, mainly from Japan, UK, Usa, Greece, Holland, Korea. Successful events such as the performance by Golden Goose Deluxe brand and the multimedia set of Second Life communities were presented together with innovative brands such as Dove nuotano gli squali and Rero design at Touch!, Masayuki Marukawa and Hache at Neozone, Tarina Tarantino and Swims at Cludnine. Touch! Also presented Levi’s premium lines levi’s Red, Levi’s Vintage Clothing and Levi’s Blue.
