Luxury fashion retailer Nordstrom has launched a permanent store-in-store concept called Space that provides a mix of ascending high fashion brands like Vetements with other established names like Acne or Marques'Almeida.

Apparel, shoes, handbags and accessories collections are staged in a “boutique-like” environment, according to Nordstrom director of creative projects Olivia Kim, who curated the project. The store design features pink mannequins, mixed materials and art objects –a striking combination that aims to awaken consumers’ interest towards Space. "I want this to be a place of inspiration and education. A lot of these pieces are new and directional, but I want it to always feel inclusive,” said Kim in regard of the launch.

Further designers available to shop at Space are Simone Rocha, Jacquemus, Isa Arfen, Anthony Vaccarello, Shrimps, Tricot Comme des Garçons, Noir Kei Ninomiya, Creatures of the Wind, Faustine Steinmetz, Mociun and Sophie Bille Brahe, among others. Space is already available at the following Nordstrom locations: Downtown Seattle, San Francisco Center, Michigan Avenue in Chicago and Vancouver (Canada), as well as online.
